IS MILEY CYRUS DATING DOUGLAS BOOTH?

It seems that even before Miley Cyrus’ breakup with Liam Hemsworth got through the grapevine, she’s been seen around town in a “flirty” way with Douglas Booth. Now, the Waterford, Michigan bartender who saw them together, along with their other two Laughing Out Loud costars, Tanz Watson and Ashley Greene, did say “the flirting was very respectful” in that there was no kissing. But he also said “I thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend, they were flirting so much.”

The big problem with this is that Douglas Booth is reportedly in a 3 year relationship meaning he has a serious girlfriend. If this is true, I bet he doesn’t have one anymore if the girlfriend finds out what this bartender said about Booth: “For his part, he seemed to be eating up all the attention” paid to him by Cyrus who was “falling all over him.”(I have to ask why does this bartender care so much?)

At the same time, there’s no buzz yet about why Miley Cyrus and The Last Song costar, Liam Hemsworth, broke up. Guess they hit a sour note? Not funny. There were also rumors that Miley was dating Adam Sevani so who knows? Hey come on, remember the idiotic rumors about Miley Cyrus dating Justin Bieber? She only had dinner with the guy and joked he was so cute and small to put in her pocket like a key chain I think she said. Oh maybe I’m just making up that part, who cares?

But it apparently wasn’t only the Michigan bartender who noticed flirting vibes between Douglas Booth and Miley Cyrus, they’ve been spotted all cozy in public together at a few other places.It’s would seem that they don’t care who sees them or who thinks what about the two of them, doesn’t it?

NICK JONAS IS THE SUBJECT OF MILEY CYRUS’ SONG “FULL CIRCLE”

During her Saturday, May 29 concert in Portugal, Miley Cyrus sang a new song called “Full Circle.” She announced the song by saying “It’s about two people, no matter what, they’re always gonna come back together, no matter what anyone says or the bad people that try to keep you apart.”

Apparently deciding not to keep her explanation completely vague and mysterious, Miley then added “It’s a personal story… Surprise, surprise… it’s about a Jonas Brother.” Hmmm wonder what current boyfriend, Liam Helmsworth, Miley’s Australian co-star from The Last Song thinks about this. (I also wonder when Miley wrote the song, but I think I wonder too much…)

Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus first began dating in 2007. Miley said at the time that her dad, country music singer/actor, Billy Ray Cyrus, approved of Jonas. (BTW, could Miley look any more like her father?) After a break up, Miley and Nick were back together last year. This was confirmed by Nick’s brother Joe on Larry King. Larry, trying to pry Joe’s girlfriend’s name out of Joe to no avail, asked him if his girlfriend was more famous than his brother Nick’s. Joe replied “I don’t think anyone’s as famous as Miley Cyrus.”(Smooth, Joe, real smooth.)

Okay, if Miley’s song is about her relationship with Nick, does she want them to get back together and who are the “bad people” that try to keep them apart? (Better question, why in the hell do I care?) Miley Cyrus isn’t the only one that Nick Jonas has had an on-again, off-again relationship with – Selena Gomez is another.

Anyway, if I were Liam Helmsworth, I’d be maybe at least a little pissed if my girlfriend created a song about her ex and how they are “always gonna come back together, no matter what anyone says…”

17 YEAR OLD MILEY CYRUS WANTS TO FOCUS ON CAREER

Ahhh, to be 17 again! The time where you can decide on your future! (Unfortunately, many of us make bad decisions!) Is soon-to-graduate-high school 17 year old Miley Cyrus making a mistake by putting off college to expand her acting career? Well, her reviews for The Last Song with boyfriend and Australian underwear model, Liam Hemsworth, were mixed. Yet many reviewers called her “charismatic” or said she had a real “screen presence” so maybe she should try acting while she can still get parts? Also,  she’s 17 and wants to break out of the Disney/Hannah Montana mold.

Plus, it’s not like she doesn’t ever want to go to college at all. Cyrus tells press her grandmother didn’t go back to school until age 62 so Miley could “always go back later.” (Very flimsy logic, but then this is Miley Cyrus we’re talkin’ ’bout). If she did choose college now, Miley would likely pick her sister’s alma mater, Nashville’s Middle Tennessee State University where she says many of her friends are going.

BTW, who are her movie star friends really? Recently she was seen having dinner with Justin Beiber and despite her romance with Hemsworth, there was press asking her if he was her new guy. (Sick! The guy looks 12! I was glad (and surprised) to find out Beiber is actually 16 so that’s only 1 year younger that Cyrus..but still…) Does someone set up these dinners as a publicity stunt or what?

Miley told The View in March: “The music industry isn’t as positive as I would like it to be” so “I just want to work in movies.” Well, maybe it’s worth a shot for her, but is the movie industry really any more “positive” than the music biz? How ’bout noooooo… Don’t put on those rose-colored glasses Miley…

NO ‘FOOTLOOSE’ REMAKE FOR CHACE CRAWFORD

The remake of the 1984 film, ‘Footloose’ that made Kevin Bacon a big star doesn’t seem to be able to get off the ground. Chace Crawford accepted the Kevin Bacon lead role of Ren McCormack in May 2009, but recently quit. The reason he quit the production wasn’t made clear, but some say his stint on ‘Gossip Girls’ interfered with the filming. Last October, director Kenny Ortega left the ‘Footloose’ remake project due to “creative differences.”

You’d figure that Crawford must have had a good reason to quit since he reportedly endured months of intense dance training for the role. It was just before it was time to shoot the movie that Chace backed out of the film. ‘Gossip Girls’ time conflict or not, maybe a rehash of an 80s dance movie isn’t meant to be…

I HOPE THEY DON’T REMAKE ‘FLASHDANCE’

Maybe a remake of ‘Footloose’ wouldn’t be soooo bad, but lets not bring back ‘Flashdance’ with Miley Cyrus dancing around with a blowtorch singing “What a Feeling.” Chace Crawford jumpin’ to “Let’s Hear it For the Boy” would be at least tolerable, although perhaps barely at that…

I couldn’t believe that ‘Footloose’ was actually based on a true story. The tiny, real Oklahoma town of Elmore City had a ‘no dancing in the city limits’ law on the records since the 1800s. They say small towns move slowly, but it took until 1980 before people got the law overturned to have their first high school prom!

Zac Efron was offered the Ren McCormack part before Crawford, but turned it down. Paramount may now decide to cast an unknown actor/dancer in the musical film. We’ll have to see if ‘Footloose’ actually ends up being remade, but by the time it does, no one may give a flying dance step…

Miley Cyrus will be the celebrity mentor on American Idol during the Billboard No. 1 Hits show on Tuesday. Good luck idolers! I hope she teaches them all about singing rasp-ily while taking pictures in your underwear. It’s gonna be a party in the U-S-A.
