RIHANNA ON ‘LAST GIRL ON EARTH’ TOUR

After finally admitting to press last month that she and Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star, Matt Kemp, are an item rather than just friends as she said for months, Rhianna recently declared she’s in love with the slugger. (better a baseball hitter than the woman hitting kind she dated before whose name I shouldn’t mention…Chris Brown Chris Brown Chris Brown Chris Brown Chris Brown.)

Her current ‘Last Girl On Earth’ tour has Rihanna in Europe sans Matt. So far, she’s had a lot of battle scars after slipping on stage and injuring her ribs in Zurich, Switzerland. Luckily her ribs weren’t cracked, but Rihanna commented that they did hurt for a long time and a doctor had to travel with her to keep their condition monitored. She’d love it if Matt could join her in Europe, especially when she was in the most romantic city in the world, Paris.
The hopeful plan was for Matt to meet Rihanna in London. Rihanna told London’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “I was hoping he would be able to come to London, but he’s working.”

THE LOVE BIRDS MUST BE APART FOR 7 WEEKS

In June, Rihanna and Matt will meet up again in the U.S., but for now, the Rude Boy singer sends a lot of video messages to her sweetie. In addition to tour concerts, the Umbrella girl also has videos to finish for her next single.

The only mystery is how serious the couple is since Rihanna went from denying their couple status, to saying she’s very much in love with Matt to commenting that it’s just “fun” and she’s not ready for anything serious. (Hey, I don’t blame her – celebs are always getting grilled about their love life and it’s not easy to answer – what if she hasn’t even told Matt how she feels really?) Anyway, time will tell and I wish Rihanna all the best…
