SHILOH JOLIE-PITT WANTS SHORT HAIR AND BOYS’ WEAR
Just when you think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can’t get any more forward thinking, you find out they let tomboy daughter, Shiloh, 3, pick out the clothes she wanted most just like 5 year old sister, Zahara, got to do even if they happened to be from the boys’ collection. (There will be no gender stigmas in the Jolie-Pitt household, thankyouverymuch!)
The so hot they’re cool couple went shopping in Paris earlier this week with their two eldest daughters at the chic Bonpoint children’s boutiques on a break from Angelina’s work on the movie, The Tourist. While Zahara chose pretty girly girl dresses, Shiloh wanted more masculine items such as a pair of yellow acid-wash boys’ jeans. The Jolie-Pitts reportedly spent 10K US buying lucky Shiloh the whole Bonpoint boys’ 2010 Spring/Summer collection. (If you want to dress like a boy, boy oh boy you’re going to do it in total style, kid!)
Rather than getting fashion inspiration from big sis Zahara, Shiloh instead looks up to 8 year old brother, Maddox, reportedly even going as far as wearing his old soccer shoes. Who knows if it’s just a tomboy phase or not – I mean she’s only 3! The important thing is that Brangelina are showing good parenting chops by avoiding gender bias although I’m pretty sure not everyone feels this way. Too bad, so sad for those who can’t or won’t see (the good parenting point) but…
SPEAKING OF GOOD PARENTING…
Jolie’s very recent reunion with her formerly estranged father, Jon Voight, has brought Voight to say that both Angelina and Brad are “the most amazing, loving parents I’ve ever seen.” He said his daughter has “so much love to give and to share with the children and with Brad.”
Last week, after a few phone calls and emails, Voight met up with the entire Jolie-Pitt family in Venice, Italy and commented that finally, he was able to hug all of his grandchildren. Shiloh, 3, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, 19 months, are the couple’s biological offspring, while Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, and Zahara, 5, are their adopted children. Best of luck on being reunited, Jolie-Pitt Voights!
